Police dogs from Guelph were brought in after a Waterloo gas station was robbed Sunday night.The robbery occurred around 7 p.m. at the Shell gas station at Westmount Road and Father David Bauer Drive.Waterloo Regional Police say a man walked into the store with an edged weapon, stole cash and ran off.Police searched a wide area, but were unable to locate the man.The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, believed to be around 5’3” with an average build.He was wearing a baggy black hoodie.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-653-7700 ext. 6399 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
