Police dogs from Guelph were brought in after a Waterloo gas station was robbed Sunday night. The robbery occurred around 7 p.m. at the Shell gas station at Westmount Road and Father David Bauer Drive. Waterloo Regional Police say a man walked into the store with an edged weapon, stole cash and ran off. Police searched a wide area, but were unable to locate the man. The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, believed to be around 5’3” with an average build. He was wearing a baggy black hoodie.
