Out pacing the rest of the developed world, the U.S. economy accelerated at its fastest in more than a decade on significant pick ups in business and consumer spending. Companies are investing and hiring more, while savings at the pump, a stronger U.S. dollar and higher house hold wealth should boost the purchasing power of many consumers. However, as the Fed transitions to a less accommodative stance, as ooner-than-expected interest rate hike could bring about more market volatility. Furthermore, the U.S. market is fully valued, leading investors to search internationally for better value and opportunities. Within US market, favor cyclical sectors like technology and financial over defensive and dividend-oriented sectors like consumer staples and utilities.
Here is a relative valuation for different asset class in different countries. Though some are cheap for reasons.
